Zimbabwe vs India 2016: 3rd ODI Match Betting

India v Zimbabwe 3rd ODIIt’s been a very one-sided series so far but while Zimbabwe’s cricket is in a poor state right now, you have to give credit to the way that India’s young team have won so emphatically.

Maybe it would be good to see MS Dhoni’s men bat first to see how much depth there is in this unit but it’s been a positive tour so far, ahead of the third ODI in Harare on Wednesday.

Match Odds & Game Preview

India continue to shorten and there is very little value to be had in the tourists but if you like your profits to be small ones, you can back the favourites at 1.12 with Bet365. If, however, you’re expecting a shock in this tie, you can take a punt on Zimbabwe at 6.00 with Betfair.

There seems very little to say about this: India have just dominated with bat and ball and have been far too strong for the host nation so far. If Zimbabwe were to dismiss the first three cheaply then they may have some hope as pressure is put on a young middle order. Even then, they would have to get past the experience of Dhoni.

The injury to the dangerous Sean Williams is another blow for the home side and you just can’t see any real hope for Wednesday’s fixture so we’ll quickly move on to the additional markets.

India vs Zimbabwe 3rd ODI

We’ve scored with our Indian top batsman tips in the first two matches so who should we look to in an attempt to make it a hat trick? KL Rahul and Ambati Rayudu have brought home the profits so far and those two men start here at the same price of 4.00 with Bet365.

Betting Pick: Karun Nair has also shown some composure at the top of the order and is worth a look at 5.00 with Bet365 while Manish Pandey can also be backed at that same figure of 5.00 with Bet365.

With the series already won, the Indian selectors may look to switch the team around but we expect Rayudu to stay and after his calm performance in the second ODI, we’re backing him again at that 4.00 price.

Zimbabwe’s market is far less predictable with the profits so far being shared between their number eight and their number four. Vusi Sibanda can often be the most reliable of the top order and he goes off here at 6.00 with Bet365 while Hamilton Masakadza starts as favourite at 4.50 with Bet365 again.

Higher prices are attractive in an unpredictable line up with Elton Chigumbura, who gave the return in the first match, being the standout player here at 8.00 with Bet365.

Other Betting Tips

In such a one-sided match it is tough to find some tempting alternatives but the century to be scored at 2.20 with Bet365 may well drop in. Even in a low scoring series, we’ve seen one ton already from Rahul and if India were to bat first, this would be almost certain to land.

Similarly, India to hit the most sixes at 1.83 is also reasonably priced – giving much better value than those win odds of 1.12.

Betting Tip: Tours such as these can be useful to a side looking to trial some fringe players in an attempt to see who is ready to step up and several members of the Indian squad have risen to the task. Meanwhile, it’s been another fruitless series for Zimbabwe and we expect them to succumb again on Wednesday. Back India if you like, but the better prices are in the side markets on the eve of this final ODI.
