India’s Largest Poker Site Launches Adda52 Millions Tournament, India’s largest online poker site recently announced that the next edition of its popular online tournament Adda52 Millions will take place this June. The month-long tournament is set to offer for the first time ever prize money of over Rs. 30 lakhs which will be spread across two events.

In this year’s edition of the Adda52 Millions, the prize money has been increased from Rs. 15 lakhs offered previously to Rs. 20 lakhs based on the growing popularity of the tournament and increased participation of Indian poker players.

The organizers will use 15 lakhs from the total of 20 lakhs as part of a guaranteed prize pool and the remaining 5 lakhs will be set aside as a locked bonus to be apportioned to players who cash out. An additional 50,000 rupees will be given out as bad beat jackpot for those who get the first bad beat i.e. when any quad hand is beaten by a higher hand.

Players can participate in the tournament by either playing in month-long satellites this June. The satellite events will take place on the Adda52. com site and the winners will receive entry tickets to the finale. Daily satellites having a buy-in of 200 rupees have commenced from June 1 and will continue till June 21.adda52

Deadline satellites are also planned after this date having a buy-in of 1,000 rupees. These will run from June 22 to 26 and players can use them as a last opportunity to win their way into the Adda52 Millions Finale. Players will also be able to book a spot in the finale with a buy-in of 10,000 rupees.

In addition to the Adda52 Millions event, the poker site has introduced a new event called Adda52 Mini Millions. This is a smaller event having a similar structure but has lower buy-in which is an attempt to encourage more players to participate. The prize pool for this event is Rs. 10 lakhs, out of which Rs. 7 lakhs will be offered as guaranteed prize pool. The remaining Rs. 3 lakhs will be given out as locked bonus to those who finish in the money. In addition to this, players will be eligible to get a bounty of 1,000 rupees for every player they knock out in the tournament

The buy-in for the event has been set at Rs. 5,500 + 1,000 and is scheduled to be held on June 19. The top 10 of the bounty hunters who obtain 4 or more bounties will win a cumulative prize of  Rs. 90,000 .
