It’s very much a ‘Winner Takes All’ game in Raipur on Sunday although Delhi’s weak net run rate means that they may still need other results to go their way if they are to make the playoffs. Meanwhile, RCB’s incredible run of form has taken them from no-hopers to a side who finally justify their billing as pre-tournament favourites.

Match Betting & Game Preview
A record of five wins from six means that the Royal Challengers are comfortable favourites here at 1.57 with Bet365. They have all the momentum although they will be tested if they lose Virat Kohli early. The Indian test skipper is in the form of his life with some amazing stats including four IPL9 hundreds and a run tally that is closing in on the 1000 mark.
Those are incredible figures and the equation is simple: If Kohli fires again, RCB will win it and progress to the knockouts. Delhi will have to hope that they can dismiss the captain and AB De Villiers cheaply and then they will put the rest of this side under severe pressure.
The Daredevils upset the odds to claim a last ball win against the Sunrisers on Friday and look to have finally got their selection right after weeks of tinkering with the line up. Carlos Brathwaite makes Delhi stronger with bat and ball and they have a chance with this starting XI.
Betting Pick: The Daredevils are at 2.40 with 888Sport but based on form alone you have to side with RCB.

Top Batsmen Betting Picks
Are there any alternatives to Virat Kohli? He has top scored in three of RCB’s last five matches and starts here at 2.62 with Bet365 – the shortest price I have ever seen in a top batsman market. There are other options however and AB De Villiers has converted twice in those five games to become a value pick here at 4.00 with Bet365 one again.
KL Rahul has looked dangerous at times and is listed at 9.00 with Bet365 while Chris Gayle, who has just started to find his touch, is at 4.00 with Bet365.
For Delhi, a rare failure from Quinton De Kock last time out hasn’t affected his starting price and the South African is hot favourite at 2.87 with Bet365. Karun Nair was the hero against the Sunrisers and goes off at 5.50 with Bet365 but if I was going to look beyond De Kock, I suspect this could be the game for Sanju Samson to step up. The stumper is priced at a tempting 6.00 with Bet365 again.

Other Bet Selections
If the Royal Challengers bat first can we expect another feast of runs? 248 against Gujarat and 211 against KXIP – both for the loss of three wickets – suggests we will and there are many markets that can tie into that.
One bet that should be safe is for RCB to be ahead at the end of the first six overs. It’s priced at 1.61 with Bet365 and even if there are some early wickets in the Powerplay, you know that Gayle, Kohli and De Villiers will go hard at the bowling. It’s also a better value option than Bangalore to hit most sixes which is at 1.51 with Bet365.
The sheer unpredictability of the IPL is one reason why we love it so much and having upset the market against Sunrisers, Delhi have the capability to do so again. I feel, however, that there is so much momentum in this RCB side and even the bowlers who were so expensive at the start of the tournament suddenly have belief.
Betting Tip: I’m backing AB De Villiers will top score this time and that’s my biggest tip but as for the result, it’s the Royal Challengers all the way.
